Shailesh Lodha is a well-known name in the entertainment sector; he is renowned for both his stunning and eloquent speaking style. With his portrayal of Taarak Mehta in the hit sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the actor won over audiences over time. Shailesh Lodha was recently questioned by RJ Siddharth Kanan about the most unexpected rumour that has been made about him. When asked about the rumours that he will leave Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah to work on another programme, he said that he was astounded. He clarified that it wasn't accurate and that the programme he is now anchoring didn't exist when he left the sitcom.

Shailesh Lodha revealed that the call from the show's producer came when he was working with Comedy Circus. So, when he was departing for Jodhpur, he phoned him to the airport. Asit Modi arrived to greet him and informed him with assurance that he would be portraying Taarak Mehta in the upcoming television production Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Shailesh jumped right into the job.

Shailesh said he is a very emotional guy and that, of course, he felt connected to the programme when questioned about his devotion to the show he did for 14 years. He claimed to refer to himself as a "sentimental fool."
